Some of my favorite flowers for a wedding are Hydrangea, Roses, Lilac, Orchids, New Zealand Calla Lilies, Stephanotis, Peony and Tulips but what ever flowers you choose when put together properly they become a beautiful work of art that speaks mountains about who you and your loved one are. |

Hydrangea:
Hydrangea comes in a beautiful white, antique blue, which sometimes has touches of burgundy in it, soft baby blue and green are the most common colors. Hydrangea is wonderful as a base to any flower arrangement. It adds a touch of class and is appropriate for any style or color theme. |

Lilac:
Lilac all though only available in a few colors; purple, pink, lavender and white adds such a lovely delicate touch to all your wedding flowers but is most appreciated in the bridal and bridesmaids bouquets. Lilac generally has a wonderful scent and requires a very cold winter to have the most fragrance. |

Orchids:
Phalaenopsis, Cymbidium, Oncidium or Dendrobium, which ever your preference, this flower is sure to be a hit at your event. Cymbidium's are one of the most popular Los Angeles wedding flowers and are available in a range of colors including white, green, yellow, pink, red and rust. The Phalaenopsis has many large blooms on it and are one of the most elegant of wedding flowers. They are not only gorgeous as centerpieces but are one of the most elegant flowers when used in the bridal bouquet. |

Peony:
There is so much to say about peony but the one word that comes to mind is Wow! This flower and its array of colors both soft in pastels and bold in the deep rich tones are most available from late spring to early summer. This one's expensive but well worth the extra money spent. It has a sweet perfume and is one of the most cherished of wedding flowers. |

Stephanotis:
The meaning of Stephanotis is "marital happiness" which makes this flower a wonderful choice for weddings. One of the most mild yet fragrant of flowers, stephanotis is best used in bouquets and boutonnieres. It is a small star shaped white flower that grows on a vine. Each flower must be hand wired or placed in a special holder before it can be used.

Tulips:
Tulips, which represent "consuming love and happy years", are a meaningful flower for weddings. Tulips are grown in a huge range of colors including white, pink, yellow, peach, purple, magenta, red and cream. There are over three thousand varieties of tulips. Tulips can enhance the most casual of weddings to the most elegant of weddings. |
